Hickory Trail was started in 2009 in Pella, Iowa by Shawn Van Gorp and his family. The bees are gathered from homes in the area, where they have become unwelcome guests... and given a home on Shawn's land. Everything is harvested naturally, and the products that are made from the honey are all completely natural, with no added chemical, preservatives or other nasty stuff.
